Ann has two baby birds in the nest on her front porch of her Hurricane Home.
We decided to take a picture before they flew away, and we wanted to see what kind they were. So we got the ladder out of the garage, climbed up to the nest, (which is on top of her front porch light) and was really sad to find that one of the fledgelings had died when it was only a few days old. the other one is big and healthy, will probably fly away within the next week. SOOOOO here is a picture of Ann's baby bird. It is a baby fan tailed pidgeon.
YEA!!! I'm glad one of them made it! We were so worried that we had interrupted their world while we were there this past week. Thanks for the great pictures!
